Custom storage solutions for the reception area of the Bechet & Ceramic showroom in Arlon

For the reception area of the Bechet & Ceramic showroom in Arlon, we designed a custom-made piece of furniture in dark brown oak, created to optimize storage while adding character to the space.

A structured and functional layout

This cabinet offers nearly 5 m³ of storage volume while maintaining a visually light presence.
Behind its dark brown oak fronts, the unit integrates numerous functional elements:

  • Adjustable shelves
  • 3 integrated drawers
  • A dedicated space designed to accommodate a printer
  • A discreet 30 mm plinth that visually lightens the overall structure

A play of lines between verticality and openness

The verticality of the doors, enhanced by long brushed gold linear handles, structures the wall and gives it an elegant style. The central cabinets, equipped with a push-to-open system, offer a seamless and minimalist façade.

This sense of structure is softened by a large open horizontal niche, which lightens the composition and creates a focal point.

A central niche between material and light

At the heart of the unit, the niche stands out with a marble-effect finish directly sourced from the tiles available in the showroom, highlighted by integrated LED lighting.
It also includes a discreet power outlet, designed for everyday use.

This choice creates a visual connection with the table located opposite, ensuring strong visual coherence within the reception area, in line with Bechet & Ceramic’s request.

This principle can also be adapted to residential projects: it is possible to integrate existing tiles — for example on the floor — to create a material continuity and an elegant, cohesive interior design.

A piece designed for both function… and image

Beyond storage, this unit structures the reception space and fully contributes to the identity of the المكان. It enhances the materials and creates an atmosphere that is warm, professional, and high-end.
