Custom storage solutions for the reception area of the Bechet & Ceramic showroom in Arlon

A Structuring and Functional Bespoke Design

For the reception area of the Bechet & Ceramic showroom in Arlon, we designed a bespoke unit in dark brown oak, created to optimise storage while adding character to the space.

With nearly 5 m³ of storage capacity, the unit includes removable shelves, drawers, a dedicated space for a printer and a discreet 30 mm plinth, while maintaining a visually light appearance.

An Interplay of Lines Between Verticality and Openness

The doors are accentuated by long linear handles in brushed gold, while the central cabinets feature a push-to-open system to maintain a seamless, minimalist façade.

A large open horizontal niche breaks up the vertical lines and visually lightens the overall composition.

A Niche Combining Material and Light

At the heart of the unit, the niche features a marble-effect finish using tiles from the showroom’s collection, highlighted by integrated LED lighting. A discreet power outlet makes the space practical for everyday use.

The choice of finish creates a visual connection with the table positioned opposite, reinforcing the overall coherence of the reception area. This concept can also be adapted to residential projects by incorporating existing tiles to create a subtle material connection.

Beyond its storage function, this bespoke unit contributes fully to the identity of the space, creating an atmosphere that is warm, professional and high-end.
